Clare Arena Haden graduated from UW-Madison with
her MFA in Acting. While attending, she taught introductory
and intermediate Voice for the Actor classes for the undergraduates
and was a teaching assistant for Bassam Shakhashiri's Science
is Fun course in the Chemistry Department. She also taught Speak
Up, Speak Out! for The Children's Theatre of Madison. Clare
performed in many shows at University Theatre, including "Urinetown",
"A Streetcar Named Desire", "The Musical of Musicals",
and "A Midsummer Night's Dream". With her emphasis
being voice, she had the privilege of working with Talish Barrow
by vocal coaching his production of "The Love of the Nightingale",
which was the basis of her thesis.
