Patti Puccio has been a fixture in the UW-Madison Chemistry Department for many years. She has been associated with the work of Dr. Bassam Z. Shakhashiri from the time he joined the UW in 1970, first as an invaluable administrative assistant in the general chemistry program and the Institute for Chemical Education, and later, after her retirement, for the WISL. She oversees the budget and financial management, organizes and coordinates all programs and manages distribution and inventory for WISL. Her knowledge of university rules, organization and budgeting procedures, coupled with her loyalty, strong organizational, communication and computer skills, have greatly facilitated WISL’s efforts.

Patti’s hobbies include making jewelry and dresses for ballroom dancing and ice skating.
