After completing his thesis, David is starting a business to commercialize technology that he co-developed during his master’s degree. Known as dynamic line rating, this technology serves to increase the transmission capacity of the electric grid. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, he will continue working at UW-Madison as a post-doctoral researcher, picking up where he left off with his doctoral work.
