National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship, U.S. Department of Defense: Army Research Office

After completing his thesis, Chris is working on standing up the state-level science policy fellowship program WISTEP (Wisconsin Science, Technology, and Engineering Policy Fellowship) as the program co-founder and consultant on a planning grant from the National Council of State Legislatures. Their goal is to place WISTEP Fellows with the state legislative service agencies beginning in Summer 2027 to increase the amount of science and research available to state lawmakers.
